Serenity Diving is a personal scuba instruction operation run by Captain Serene (Michael J. Sylver) out of Cutler Bay in Miami-Dade County. The curriculum spans the full recreational ladder: Resort Course, Complete Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Nitrox, Rescue Diver, Refresher, and Dive Supervisor (Divemaster), with actual open-water dives conducted in South Florida and the Florida Keys — often near Biscayne National Underwater Park. One distinctive service is the Referral Dive program, which allows students who completed classroom work with any agency elsewhere to finish their pool and open-water sessions with Captain Serene and receive certification from their original agency. Nitrox certification is priced at $175 (Advanced Open Water required), and the Dive Supervisor/Divemaster program is priced at $750; materials are included where noted.
