Scuba Ethan's Outdoor Adventures
From the Kingfish Boat Ramp on Anna Maria Island, Scuba Ethan takes families and adventurers out to Egmont Key's crystal-clear Gulf waters, historic fort ruins, and abundant wildlife — or far offshore in pursuit of grouper, snapper, and sharks. Every charter is completely private, just your crew and the captain.
Scuba Ethan's Outdoor Adventures is based at the Kingfish Boat Ramp in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island, offering a full range of private on-water experiences along Florida's Gulf Coast. Captain Ethan Brannock — a native Floridian with over 20 years on Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico — leads private snorkeling tours to Egmont Key, where guests snorkel the submerged ruins of Fort Dade, spot sand dollars and tropical fish, and explore pristine beaches, all with up to six guests per boat. Sightseeing charters visit sandbars and barrier islands including Egmont Key, Beer Can Island (Greer Island), Passage Key, Jewfish Key, and Longboat Key, with near-certain chances of seeing dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles along the way. On the fishing side, inshore charters target snook, redfish, spotted sea trout, tarpon, and a long list of bay species across grass flats, mangrove shorelines, and oyster bars. For anglers seeking offshore action, Captain Ethan runs a spacious 32-foot Ocean Master powered by twin 2023 Suzuki 300hp engines out to reefs, wrecks, and deep-water structure up to 100 miles offshore, targeting grouper, snapper, tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo, and sharks. The offshore vessel is federally permitted and equipped with Garmin GPS, fish finder, radar, and an onboard restroom. Captain Ethan is also a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and Master Scuba Diving Trainer, offering Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver certification courses, as well as Discover Scuba Diving experiences conducted in the shallow waters around Anna Maria Island (average depth 10–15 feet). All charters are entirely private — no shared passengers — ensuring a personalized experience for every group.
