San Juan Adventures
San Juan Adventures runs flat-rate group fishing, crabbing, and shrimping charters out of Anacortes and Roche Harbor in the San Juan Islands, Washington.
San Juan Adventures offers private group charters departing from two bases in the Pacific Northwest: Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes and Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. Captain Corey Joyce, a native of Anacortes and commercial Dungeness crab fisherman, leads trips targeting lingcod (and other bottom fish such as cabezon and flounder), shrimp/prawns, and Dungeness crab in the waters of the San Juan Islands. All charters are priced at a flat rate of $1,999 for groups of up to six people, with all equipment, line, bait, and licensing provided. Trips run approximately 4–6 hours dock to dock. Crab and shrimp charter guests are guaranteed dinner and get hands-on experience hauling gear, sorting catch, and operating commercial-style crab or shrimp pots. The operator also offers scenic cruising trips to explore the San Juan Islands at the same flat group rate. Seasons vary by species: lingcod charters run May 1–June 15 from Anacortes; shrimp charters operate Thursday–Sunday until quota is caught; and crab charters run Thursday–Monday from both Roche Harbor and Anacortes.
