Saltywaters OBX
From the expansive marshes and sounds of the Outer Banks to the nearshore waters off Kitty Hawk, Captain Ben Morris puts anglers on redfish, trout, cobia, tarpon, and more — all gear and licenses included.
Captain Ben Morris runs Saltywaters OBX from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, guiding anglers through the marshes, sounds, and near-shore waters of the Outer Banks aboard a 24ft Sea Ox Pair Custom. The vessel is purpose-built for stability across open bays and inshore waterways, with comfortable seating, dry storage, and ample space for a captain and guests. All fishing equipment and licenses are provided, and multi-boat trips and special requests can be accommodated. Half-day, three-quarter-day, and full-day trips run year-round, targeting redfish (red drum), speckled trout, black drum, sheepshead, flounder, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, stripers, cobia, jack crevalle, triple tail, and tarpon depending on the season. Trips are priced per outing — the base rate covers one to four anglers, with a flat $50 surcharge for each additional guest. Captain Ben holds a Coast Guard master captain license and brings a lifelong background in saltwater fishing along the East Coast. His charters are designed for anglers of all experience levels, with a focus on hands-on guidance and genuine time on productive OBX water.
