The Queen of Hearts is a 50-foot sportfishing vessel operating out of Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay, California, about 20 miles south of San Francisco. The boat runs daily trips throughout the season, targeting Pacific King Salmon via trolling (typically April through October), rockfish over reefs by drifting (typically March through December), and dungeness crab during crab season through a specialty "crab combo" rockfishing format where the crew retrieves and rebaits crab pots on the return leg. Bookings and reservations are managed in partnership with Half Moon Bay Sportfishing & Tackle. Beyond standard fishing trips, the Queen of Hearts is available for private charters for families, birthday parties, and team outings, with rental rods and tackle available for purchase on all trips. The vessel also offers whale watching tours and sightseeing excursions to view the surf at Mavericks Beach along the scenic San Mateo Coast. The captain and crew cater to anglers of all experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced fishermen, providing assistance as needed. Guests may bring their own rods and gear, though large carts, boxes, and ice chests are not permitted aboard.
