Project Scuba

In the heart of Central Texas, Project Scuba brings the underwater world within reach of Killeen and Fort Hood — from first certifications in the pool to dive adventures across Texas and beyond.

Project Scuba operates out of Killeen, Texas, serving divers and aspiring divers across the Fort Hood and Central Texas region. The center offers a full spectrum of scuba certifications — spanning entry-level, specialty, and professional courses — alongside public safety diving programs, swimming lessons, and first aid/CPR/BLS instruction. Beyond classroom and pool training, Project Scuba supports active divers with gear rentals, air and nitrox tank fills, and equipment servicing at its Tallwood Drive facility. An in-house shop rounds out the retail side of the operation. The center's Dive Texas program and active dive club connect local divers with regional sites, while its dive travel offerings extend opportunities to destinations beyond the Texas coast.
