Pressure Junkies Scuba
From a decommissioned missile silo in Texas to tropical reefs across Asia and the Americas, Pressure Junkies Scuba turns extraordinary places into unforgettable dives — led by a team with deep roots in commercial diving.
Based in Natchitoches, Louisiana, Pressure Junkies Scuba was founded by a former Gulf of Mexico commercial diver who spent five months studying the science of diving in technical school. The business is veteran and Asian-woman owned, and places a strong emphasis on safety-first scuba education for divers at every level — from those who have never worn a mask to candidates pursuing professional instructor credentials. The school's training portfolio runs the full SSI ladder: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, a range of specialty courses, and professional-level Divemaster and Instructor Development programs. All necessary equipment for courses — wetsuits, masks, fins, regulators, and tanks — is provided, and rental gear is available to certified divers after they complete training. Private lessons are offered alongside group courses, and the team can assist out-of-town students in arranging nearby accommodations. Alongside its training programs, Pressure Junkies organizes group dive trips to unique destinations across North America and beyond. Past trips have included the Valhalla Missile Silo in Wingate, Texas, where guests logged multiple dives over two days inside a genuinely one-of-a-kind environment. The operator's dive-spot catalog also covers tropical destinations in Florida, Mexico, Belize, and Asia, with additional regions including Africa, South America, and Europe listed as coming soon.
