Ready to reel in a big catch on the Gulf? Captain Al brings over 40 years of fishing expertise to every trip out of Orange Beach, targeting species like Red Snapper, Amberjack, Cobia, and mahi-mahi in the rich Alabama Gulf Coast waters.
Pleasure Island Charters operates private fishing charters out of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama, aboard the Miss Carli. Led by Captain Al — who brings over 40 years of fishing experience and more than 18 years of professional chartering — the operation caters to anglers of all skill levels, from first-timers to seasoned veterans. Charters run from 4 to 12 hours and accommodate up to six passengers per trip, with children welcome as long as they can fit in a Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Every trip is all-inclusive, covering bait, tackle, and fishing licenses, so guests only need to bring drinks, snacks, and sunblock. The crew targets a wide range of species throughout the season, including Amberjack, Cobia, Red Snapper, Black Snapper, and mahi-mahi, in the productive Gulf waters off Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. A deckhand accompanies each trip to assist guests and handle fish cleaning, filleting, and bagging at the end of the charter. The operation welcomes families, corporate events, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and any group seeking a memorable day on the Gulf. Captain Al monitors weather conditions closely and will work to reschedule trips if conditions are unsafe. Cash payment is preferred, though credit cards are accepted with a transaction fee; gratuities for the captain and deckhand, as well as fish cleaning tips, are appreciated.
