Experience 'real diving' in Mallorca with daily boat trips to the Cabrera reserve and mysterious stalactite caves.
Petro Divers is a dive center located in the small harbor of Porto Petro on the southeast coast of Mallorca. The base sits right next to the port where their large diving boat 'Espet' departs for daily trips. They operate as an SSI and PADI base, as well as the only VDST base on the island. The operator runs 3-5 dives per day from Porto Petro, focusing heavily on cave exploration in local stalactite caves like Cala Sanau. Trips also include regular excursions to the Reserva Marina Del Migjorn De Mallorca and the nature reserve island of Cabrera. The underwater environment features diverse landscapes including white sandy bottoms, Neptune grass beds, rock formations, and underwater canyons. Divers at Petro Divers report encounters with schools of barracuda, groupers, octopuses, carpet rays, moray eels, conger eels, slipper lobsters, hermit crabs, and occasionally sunfish or dolphins. The water temperature reaches up to 29 degrees in midsummer.
