Peninsula Dive Services operates out of Marina, California, near Monterey, as a dedicated SCUBA equipment repair and servicing facility. The shop handles a full range of equipment maintenance: regulator bench tests, yearly servicing, and O2 cleanings; BCD function tests and inflator servicing; tank visual inspections, hydrostatic testing, tumbling, and valve servicing for both aluminum and steel tanks; and drysuit leak tests, seal replacements, and patching. Current standard turnaround is approximately two weeks. Beyond the service bench, the business offers commercial underwater services including hull inspections and cleaning, anode inspection and replacement, search and recovery, and pool inspection and repair — all bookable by phone or email. Peninsula Dive Services also provides professional dive supervisors for hire: Sam McDonald and Billy Palmer are both commercially certified or dive-instructor certified, rebreather-qualified, and highly experienced on Monterey-area dive sites. They have served as dive supervisors on productions for Netflix, Apple TV+, National Geographic, Silverback Films, Wild Space Productions, and Plimsoll, with credits including *Life On Our Planet*, *Big Beasts*, *Incredible Animal Journeys*, and *Our Great National Parks*. The shop also performs mooring inspections and replacements, making it a well-rounded technical resource for the local dive community.
