Pelagic Dive Charters
Paradise is found just past the Louisiana coastline — a short 30-mile boat ride offshore reveals clear water, abundant marine life, and the unforgettable world of Gulf oil-rig diving.
Pelagic Dive Charters operates out of Bourg, Louisiana, offering offshore rig diving trips that travel roughly 30 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. The operation runs seasonally from June 1st through November 1st, with the team welcoming guests in late May or early June. Divemaster Jason Henry and wife Monica lead the company, which grew from a core group of passionate scuba divers dedicated to delivering premier rig diving experiences. Each dive charter puts certified divers on the offshore structures that serve as thriving artificial reefs, hosting abundant and varied marine life. The standard trip packages three tank dives per person, and the operator also runs offshore fishing charters for those who prefer to drop a line. Additional services include snorkeling, spearfishing, sightseeing, and air fills. All divers are required to be certified and carry DAN (Divers Alert Network) insurance. The minimum group size for both dive and fishing charters is four people, keeping trips intimate and manageable. Pelagic Dive Charters prides itself on open communication and customer satisfaction, positioning each trip as a potential dive-of-a-lifetime experience on the Gulf Coast.
