Experience private fishing charters on the Oregon coast and rivers with a guide who knows exactly where the fish are.
Pastime Fishing Adventures is a private fishing charter service based in Portland, Oregon. Captain Don Koskela has spent over two decades guiding trips across the state's best waters, including the Columbia River, Willamette River, and the Pacific coast near Newport, Astoria, Tillamook, and Depoe Bay. The operation focuses on a variety of species depending on the location and season. On the rivers, guests can target sturgeon (with trophy fish measuring over 14 feet), walleye, and salmon runs that occur twice yearly. Offshore trips from locations like Newport and Astoria offer deep-sea fishing for coho and chinook salmon as well as halibut. Every trip is private and limited to a maximum of six people, ensuring an intimate experience with the guide. The service provides all necessary bait and tackle, and fish are filleted and bagged on board.
