Pallin' Around
Dive the Hood Canal's rich underwater terrain by day, then sit down to a chef-prepared lunch on the water — all aboard a beautifully restored 1969 mahogany trawler with views of the Olympic Mountains.
Pallin' Around operates out of Pleasant Harbor Marina in Brinnon on Washington's Hood Canal, offering guided scuba charters, fine-dining cruises, and guided shellfishing and kayaking experiences. The operation is run by Captain Kelley, a US Coast Guard 100-Ton Master Captain, and Katherine, an SDI Open Water Scuba Diving Instructor and professional chef with 15 years of experience. Their vessel is a restored 1969 36-foot mahogany trawler. The dive charter features 2 guided boat dives from the Pallin' Around, with Katherine leading groups through Hood Canal dive sites including Pinnacle (20–90'), Pulali (40–90'), Broken Leg (60–90'), Rosie's Ravine (20–120'), Flagpole (60–150'), and Elephant Wall (20–90'). Snacks and hot beverages are offered throughout, and the trip includes a chef-prepared lunch and dessert during the return trip. Beyond diving, the business offers chef-prepared dinner cruises (BYOB) and guided shellfish and kayak cruises — all with stunning views of the Olympic Mountains. Dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free are accommodated, and friendly dogs are welcomed aboard.
