Pacific Scuba Divers
From sheltered Breakwater Cove to the dramatic pinnacles of East Pescadero and the deep walls of Monastery Beach, Pacific Scuba Divers puts the full range of Northern California diving within reach — day, night, and DPV-guided.
Pacific Scuba Divers is headquartered in Sunnyvale in the San Francisco Bay Area, organizing guided dive trips to the Monterey Peninsula — one of the most celebrated dive destinations on the Pacific coast. Shore dives launch from San Carlos Beach (Breakwater Cove), a sheltered, gradually sloping entry site accessible to divers of all levels, with depths ranging from 40 to 60-plus feet along the rock breakwall. Boat charters run aboard the Double Down from K Dock in Monterey Harbor, visiting top reef and wall sites across Monterey and Carmel Bay. The range of sites covered spans from the calm shallows of McAbee Beach and Eric's Pinnacle to the granite walls of Aumentos Reef at 40–80 feet and the surge-exposed deep drops of Monastery Beach, where depths exceed 200 feet within swimming range. The operation goes well beyond daytime reef diving: guided night dives and DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) tours run at Breakwater, scuba spearfishing trips head to prime Monterey spots, and an active dive club organizes monthly shore and boat events — including a six-person exclusive charter to the best sites in Monterey and Carmel Bay. As Northern California's only PADI TecRec center and an authorized Hollis Rebreather dealer, the shop provides full technical diver training and PRISM2 workshop and service, making it the go-to facility for divers pushing into deeper, more technical water. A full-service retail shop covers dive equipment sales and scuba repair, while the training program runs from entry-level Open Water through Master Scuba Diver, specialty courses such as Enriched Air and Dry Suit, and all the way up to Divemaster and technical certifications. Organized dive travel to destinations beyond Monterey is also available through the shop's travel program.
