Pacific Ocean Water Sports operates out of Gilroy, California, located less than a mile from Highway 101 off Leavesley Road, with ample parking in front of the shop. The center draws divers from Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Hollister, and the broader San Francisco Bay Area, running a regularly scheduled annual calendar of expeditions to California destinations — Channel Islands National Park, Monterey Bay, Catalina Island, Lake Tahoe, and Mendocino. With 26 years of experience organizing dive expeditions, the shop has built a reputation as the go-to outfitter for Central California divers heading to Monterey and beyond. Beyond California, the center leads quarterly international expeditions to warm-water dive destinations including Cozumel, the Galápagos, the Philippines, Belize, Costa Rica, and Thailand. Hawaii is a recurring highlight of the travel calendar, visited several times each year, where divers encounter mantas, dolphins, eels, and turtles. Open Thursday through Monday (five days a week, forty hours a week), the shop provides air and Nitrox fills, gear sales, gear rentals, and full equipment servicing — including regulator tune-ups, tank hydrostatic testing and visual inspections, buoyancy compensator maintenance, and wetsuit repairs. Training spans beginner certification through Divemaster and Instructor levels, with the shop serving as an affiliated instructor training center for both PADI and Professional SCUBA Schools (PSS).
