Ouanalao Dive is a small dive center based in Gustavia on the island of St. Barthelemy, operating out of a local base with three daily departures at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:30 PM. The operator uses a modified 31-foot Boston Whaler powered by two 300 HP Mercury engines to access the marine park surrounding the island. The dive sites are primarily located around the islets near St. Barthelemy within a nature reserve that has been preserved for over 25 years, offering rich fauna and flora including sharks, tarpons, and barracudas. The center emphasizes small groups and generous dive times to ensure a serene experience. Founded in 2004 by Turenne Laplace, the team includes instructors Nina Bonetto and Juliette Martel. Ouanalao Dive is affiliated with both SSI and FFESSM/CMAS for training certifications.
