Oregon Fishing Adventure
Three generations of Southern Oregon fishing knowledge — from the Klamath to the Chetco to the open Pacific — distilled into guided days spent chasing king salmon and steelhead on rivers with minimal pressure and maximum fish.
Oregon Fishing Adventure runs guided fishing trips across the rivers of Southern Oregon — including the Klamath, Chetco, Smith, Elk, Sixes, Rogue, and Coquille — targeting fall and spring Chinook (king) salmon, winter steelhead, and summer steelhead throughout their respective seasons. Saltwater charters operate out of Brookings, Oregon, pursuing sea bass, lingcod, and fall king salmon offshore. Spring king salmon trips run out of Gold Beach on the Rogue River, where anglers troll from jet sleds and catch salmon up to 60 pounds. The operation is led by guide Randy Wells, a Southern Oregon native who grew up on the water and comes from three generations of fishing guides and anglers in the region. Summer steelhead trips are run out of custom-built drift boats on the Rogue River, using flies, lures, and weighted nymphs. No diving, scuba instruction, or underwater activities are offered — this is a fishing-only guiding service.
