OCD Divers is a modern dive shop and training center situated in the Harwood Village Shopping Center in Bedford, Texas, on the southwest corner of Highway 121 and Harwood Road. Operating since 2009, the shop serves the Mid-Cities, the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area, and divers who travel in from across Texas. Their weekender certification model brings all confined-water and open-water training to a single on-site location — The Scuba Ranch (May–October) or Balmorhea State Park (November–April) — so students can complete their full Open Water Diver certification in a single organized weekend without juggling multiple venues. Instructors carry certified assistants as class sizes grow and the shop has maintained a perfect safety record since opening. Beyond training, OCD Divers operates a full retail store with in-stock gear from authorized brands, providing proper warranties and manufacturer service support. They also organize dive travel, leading local Texas trips and warm-water destination trips designed with safety and new-diver comfort in mind. A bilingual staff — including a native Spanish-speaking instructor — makes the shop accessible to multicultural and bilingual families throughout North Texas. OCD Divers has been recognized as an SDI Top Performing Facility in both 2024 and 2025, and is a Five Star Instructor Development Center for SDI and the Southwest US Instructor Development Center for PSS. The shop runs Scouting America dive programs, private and semi-private class options, and welcomes divers transferring from any agency or from shops that have closed in the DFW area.
