Manta Diving Madeira operates directly from the underwater marine reserve at Garajau on the island of Madeira. The base is situated right next to its house reefs, meaning no boat trips are necessary for local diving; divers can access six top spots ranging in depth from 4 to 34 meters immediately outside the facility. For those seeking deeper or more distant sites, the operator runs boat dives to locations such as the 'Holy Wall', 'Blue Hole', and the artificial reef of the wrecked corvette Afonso Cerqueira. The base is equipped with modern rental gear that is replaced every two years and holds EN14467 and ISO 24803 certifications, making it the only dive center in Madeira to hold these specific standards. In addition to scuba diving, Manta Diving offers freediving training for beginners and advanced divers. The facility features both indoor and outdoor pools as well as fixed mooring lines at the house reef for depths of 10m, 20m, and 30m.
