Lake Phoenix Scuba Park & Family Campground operates out of a flooded quarry in Rawlings, Virginia, billed as home to the clearest water in the mid-Atlantic region. The site is open to certified scuba divers, freedivers, and mermaids (certified or in training), and features submerged wrecked vehicles that divers can explore at depths reaching 50+ feet. The on-site compressor bank offers roughly 40 CFM capacity with over 15,000 cubic feet of banked air storage, plus premix EANx32 nitrox and other blends on request.
