La Paz Explorer

Experience the Sea of Cortez with small-group diving and snorkeling adventures featuring whale sharks, sea lions, and historic wrecks.

La Paz Explorer operates small-group scuba diving and snorkeling tours from the Muelle Fiscal docks in downtown La Paz. The operator runs custom dive boats that depart at 8:30 AM for a full-day excursion to sites around Espiritu Santo Island and La Paz Bay, including El Bajo, La Reina, and various shipwrecks like the Fang Ming and Salvatierra. The business emphasizes personalized experiences with groups limited to eight divers and a guide ratio of one-to-six. All tours include rental of full scuba gear (BCD, regulator, mask, fins, weights), national park admission, lunch, and refreshments. The operator also offers Discover Scuba Diving for non-certified individuals and private charters that allow guests to select their preferred dive sites. As an official SSI Dive Boat and online training center, La Paz Explorer provides certification courses ranging from beginner levels to advanced specialties. Their fleet is equipped with safety features such as oxygen tanks, first aid kits, and freshwater showers on larger vessels.
