Georgia Charter Fishing
From tailing redfish in skinny marsh water to giant tarpon leaping at daybreak off the Georgia coast, Captain Greg Hildreth has been crafting unforgettable fishing adventures in the Golden Isles since 1992. Every trip is fully customized — and every charter includes everything you need to fish.
Captain Greg Hildreth operates Georgia Charter Fishing out of St. Simons Marina on St. Simons Island, guiding anglers through the marshes, creeks, and coastal waters surrounding the Golden Isles — Jekyll Island, Sea Island, St. Simons Island, and Brunswick. The operation has been running since 1992 aboard a custom 25ft C-Hawk called the "Minner Skinner," powered by a Yamaha outboard and fully equipped with state-of-the-art electronics and safety gear. Trips target a wide range of inshore and nearshore species including redfish (bull reds), tarpon, speckled seatrout, flounder, sheepshead, blacktip sharks, tripletail, and whiting. Captain Hildreth customizes each charter to the group's preferences — half-day, full-day, and multi-day options are all available, and multiple-boat charters can be arranged for larger parties. Up to six anglers can be accommodated per USCG regulations. All charters are fully inclusive: Captain Hildreth provides all rods, reels, bait, tackle, fishing licenses, fuel, coolers, ice, and digital pictures emailed after the trip. Guests are asked to bring only lunch, snacks, drinks, appropriate clothing, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Rates are available on request by phone or via the online contact form, and cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance for a refund.
