The emerald Gulf waters off Florida's Panhandle are on the doorstep — and Fort Walton Beach Scuba has spent over thirty years building a community of divers who explore them together, from first breaths underwater all the way to professional-level certifications.

Fort Walton Beach Scuba operates from Mary Esther on Florida's Emerald Coast, serving the wider Fort Walton Beach area as the region's only full-service dive center. Boat dive trips run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays into the Gulf of America, giving certified divers consistent weekend access to the warm, clear waters off the Panhandle's white-sand coast. The shop was built over three decades by founder Gary Wyant and has recently transitioned to new ownership under Trevor Dell and Dive World LLC, who are committed to preserving the same family atmosphere and commitment to quality that defined the original operation. Instruction spans the full PADI ladder — from the three-hour Discover Scuba Diving introduction (all equipment provided) through Open Water certification and onward to the Divemaster professional program. PADI instructors collectively bring over thirty years of teaching experience, and the shop is also home to Bright Horizons Diving, a nonprofit adaptive scuba program that opens the underwater world to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, starting participants as young as 10 years old. The facility covers every diver's needs beyond the water too: sales of new gear, equipment rentals, and a full-service repair and upgrade workshop. An active dive club meets monthly and hosts seminars, skills clinics, fun dives, and underwater cleanups, while the travel program organizes dive trips to destinations around the world.
