Dive the French Riviera's famous wrecks and vibrant reefs with a local operator offering free Nitrox and multilingual guides.
The European Diving School operates two modern dive centers on the French Riviera: one in the bay of Pampelonne near Cap Camarat and Saint-Tropez, and another on the Giens peninsula near Hyères. The operator runs its own technically perfect boats to access a diverse range of local sites, including shallow reef spots around various capes and world-famous wrecks such as the submarine Rubis, the Donator, the Grec, or the Togo. Divers can choose between shore dives from the beach and boat trips to deeper locations. The school offers dive experiences for all levels, ranging from snorkelers and trial divers to technical divers. Notable reef sites include La Grande Quairolle off Cap Lardier with its steep walls and gorgonians, Grotte Rouceau near Pampelonne Beach featuring canyons and swim-throughs, Les Sardinaux in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, and Rabiou l’Arche known for its arches and rock pinnacles. In addition to guided diving, the school provides a full program of training courses from beginner certifications (PADI or CMAS) through advanced levels like Rescue Diver and Divemaster. Nitrox 32 or 28 is available free of charge during dives.
