El Rei del Mar is a dive center located inside the Hotel Panorama in L'Estartit, operating from April to November. The business runs daily boat trips to the Illes Medes Natural Reserve and the Costa del Montgrí, departing at 9:00, 11:00, 15:00, and 17:00. Each trip lasts approximately two hours for a single dive, with divers walking from the hotel to the embarkation point while staff transport equipment by truck. The operator offers guided dives at various sites within the reserve, including Salpatxot-Guix, Pedra de Déu, and Pota del Llop. Divers can encounter large schools of barracuda, sardines, and salps, as well as eagle rays, moonfish, tuna, and groupers. The center also provides training courses from beginner to professional levels and introductory 'eco-baptism' experiences during the summer months.
