Diving Coiba
Dive the migration routes of Coiba National Park with an experienced team in Santa Catalina.
Diving Coiba is the first SSI Dive Center in Santa Catalina, located on the main street in front of the church. The operator runs dive trips from this base into the waters surrounding the Coiba National Park and its 38 islands. The site sits at the eastern border of a triangle formed by Galapagos, Cocos Islands, and Malpelo, placing it directly on migration routes for large marine life. Divers can encounter whales, whale sharks, white tip reef sharks, hammerheads, and manta rays during their dives. For those interested in smaller subjects, the operator highlights opportunities to find frogfish, seahorses, and nudibranchs. The team includes Boris, a former French chef turned SSI Open Water Instructor with experience across New Caledonia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Canary Islands.
