Diversified Diver Specialties LLC was founded in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 2010 by owner Randy Polito as a commercial diving venture, applying nearly 30 years of construction industry expertise to underwater work: dock renovation, aquatic plant harvesting via Diver Assisted Suction Harvesting (DASH), lake water pump installation, lost item search and recovery, and storm damage repair on wave attenuators. In January 2024 the business expanded into a full-service retail dive shop, offering a complete range of diving equipment, air fills, hydrostatic and visual cylinder inspections, and gear maintenance alongside its established dive services. The shop carries top brands including SeaLife, SUUNTO dive computers, and Xcel, serving recreational, technical, and commercial divers from a single Coeur d'Alene location. As a PADI training provider, the operation runs courses from the introductory Discover Scuba Diving experience through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster, plus a broad catalog of specialty courses including Enriched Air, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Dry Suit, and Cavern Diver. Beyond local training and equipment, Diversified Diver Specialties operates as a fully functional Travel Provider, organizing all-inclusive dive packages and group trips to top diving destinations worldwide.
