Dive the thermal waters of Cueva del Agua or explore the protected reefs of Cabo Tiñoso with a local school that owns its own boats.
Divergente Buceo is a dive center and school located in Isla Plana, situated between Mazarrón and La Azohía on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. The facility features two levels: a ground floor with accessible changing rooms, equipment rental areas, bottle charging stations, and sales; and an upper level with classrooms, meeting spaces, and a relaxation area overlooking the sea. The center operates its own fleet for dive excursions, including the OLBAP TR8 (an 8-meter rigid catamaran with capacity for 12 divers) and the Semirrígida Kraken (a 7.5-meter semi-rigid boat with capacity for 10 divers). They offer a wide range of training programs from recreational to technical diving, including deep diving, cave diving, sidemount, and freediving courses. A key feature of their location is access to the Cueva del Agua (Water Cave), a natural cavity accessible from land that features thermal waters with a permanent internal temperature of 29 degrees Celsius. The center also serves as a specialized Mares equipment dealer, offering advice and sales for recreational and technical gear.
