Explore the Pacific reefs of Zihuatanejo with local dive trips and seasonal whale watching tours.
Dive Zihuatanejo operates out of the center of Zihuatanejo, offering a variety of underwater experiences in the Pacific waters off Guerrero. The shop runs local scuba dive trips between Manzanillo reef and Ixtapa, as well as excursions to Morros de Potosi for more adventurous divers. In addition to diving, they offer snorkeling tours to popular sites like Caleta de Chon and Playa Las Gatas, which are accessible by boat. During the winter months (December 15 to March 20), the operator hosts whale watching tours featuring humpback whales, guided by a marine biologist. The business also functions as a PADI dive center, offering courses from Discover Scuba to Divemaster, and provides snorkel gear rental for those exploring the bay independently.
