Tucked in Altamonte Springs just north of Orlando, Dive Nerd Outfitters operates out of a single, intentionally small shop at 510 Douglas Ave, serving divers across Seminole County and Central Florida. Local charters head to the region's celebrated freshwater spring systems — primarily Ginnie Springs and Blue Grotto — where exceptional visibility and stable conditions make for year-round diving. A dedicated charter calendar keeps the schedule current, and the shop also organizes dive and adventure travel to destinations beyond Florida. The shop's defining character is its unhurried, student-first approach. Class sizes are kept deliberately small, instructors work at each diver's pace, and every element of the program — from gear selection to open-water checkout dives — is calibrated for real Florida spring conditions rather than resort shortcuts.
