Train for your next world record in the calm, deep waters of Soufriere Bay.
Deep Dominica Freediving operates out of Soufriere Bay on the island of Dominica, a location chosen for its warm water, lack of current, and unlimited depth close to shore. The team includes Padjen, who has lived in the area since 2018; Sofi Daanverhoeven, a world record holder who trains there frequently; and Jon Fane, an experienced freediver and part-owner of Soufriere Guesthouse. The business focuses on providing a dedicated platform for freediving training. They offer courses ranging from complete beginner introductions to advanced levels that take divers down to 40 meters. In addition to structured classes, they provide individual, weekly, and monthly platform rentals for certified freedivers looking to improve their depth or hold times.
