Coastal Scuba
From the wrecks and reefs off Myrtle Beach to the turquoise waters of Bonaire and Cozumel, Coastal Scuba has been the Grand Strand's go-to dive operation since 1994 — offering local charters aboard the 45-foot Safari IV, destination travel, and a fully stocked 3,500-square-foot dive shop under one roof.
Coastal Scuba has operated out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina since 1994, running local dive charters aboard the Safari IV — a 45-foot custom fishing/diving vessel with a 16-foot beam, large enclosed cabin, marine head, and spacious back deck for up to 25 divers. The charter schedule covers a range of local sites including The Sherman, Barracuda Alley, and the Charleston Tug, with online booking available through an integrated FareHarbor calendar. Private charters are also offered aboard the Safari IV and additional vessels (minimum 6, maximum 25 divers). Beyond local charters, Coastal Scuba organizes group travel to international dive destinations including Bonaire, Cozumel, and the Bahamas, with dedicated 2026 trips on the calendar. The facility also houses a 3,500-square-foot retail space for gear sales and rental, rounding out a full-service offering that includes dive training programs up through the Instructor Development Course level.
