Avoid the crowds and experience the full ambiance of the Southern Oregon Coast aboard Captain James Bithell's 24-foot Clipper Craft cabin cruiser, where big Lingcod and Salmon are the specialty.
Charthouse Sportfishing runs out of Brookings, Oregon, offering small-group ocean fishing charters on the South Oregon Coast. Captain James Bithell helms a 24-foot Clipper Craft cabin cruiser — a Mahogany Lapstrake Dory powered by twin 60hp 4-stroke Mercs — that is USCG licensed, safety equipped, and known for one of the safest bar crossings on the Oregon coast. The business operates as a six-pack charter, keeping groups intimate for a personal, attentive fishing experience on some of the most scenic Pacific coastal waters in the United States. Targets include year-round Lingcod and Rockfish, King and Silver Salmon from March 15 through September, and Halibut from May 1 through October 31. All fishing gear and bait are provided, so guests only need to bring a fishing license, lunch, layered clothing, and a camera. Family-owned and operated since 1998, Charthouse Sportfishing has built its reputation on personal service and putting clients on the fish.
