Born and raised on the Gulf Coast, Captain Thomas Haughton has spent a lifetime reading these waters — now he puts clients on Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and Tuna on trips that range from four-hour inshore runs to 24-hour tuna expeditions south of Dauphin Island.

Captain T's Fishing & Outdoor Adventures is based in Dauphin Island, Alabama, where Captain Thomas Haughton — who has been fishing Mobile Bay and the Gulf south of Dauphin Island since before age five — runs inshore, nearshore, and offshore fishing charters aboard a federally permitted 31' AmeraCat catamaran. Inshore-nearshore trips reach up to 12 miles and target trout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead, and tripletail; offshore trips range from five to 24 hours and chase Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Tuna, and more in federal waters. Summer months bring half-day and full-day Red Snapper trips departing from both Dauphin Island and the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. All charters include rods and reels, bait, and ice; guests may bring one cooler and are responsible for their own food and beverages. In addition to fishing, Captain T offers dolphin, sunset, and lighthouse cruises. Note: this operator is a fishing charter, not a dive or snorkel operation — no scuba or diving services are offered.
