Captain Jak's Divers

Set sail from Placencia's dock to explore Belize's second-best dive destination—Glover's Reef Atoll—with three-tank dives reaching 80 feet through crystal-clear waters.

Captain Jak's Divers operates out of Placencia on Belize's southern coast, running boat-based dive trips to the region's premier reef systems including Glover's Reef Atoll and Silk Cayes. The center is a PADI-affiliated facility that handles everything from introductory scuba experiences through full certification courses like Open Water Diver. Dive operations depart directly from their dock in Placencia, with boat rides ranging from 90 to 105 minutes depending on the destination site. Trips typically include three-tank dives reaching depths of up to 80 feet (24 meters), allowing divers to explore coral gardens and diverse marine life across Southern Belize's protected areas. Beyond diving, Captain Jak's offers snorkeling tours, fishing charters, land excursions, golf cart rentals, and accommodations on the lagoon. The center emphasizes personalized service with small group sizes, requiring a 6-person minimum for their dive packages.
