Capo Galera Diving Center is a PADI training facility located in Alghero on the northwest coast of Sardinia, Italy. The center operates out of a white villa perched above the rocky coastline, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and overlooking the sea. The primary focus of this operation is instructor development. They run the full PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), which includes both the Assistant Instructor component and the Open Water Scuba Instructor practical phase. The program combines online preparation with on-site training in a residential setting, allowing candidates to live at the facility during the course. The center emphasizes an immersive learning environment where students reside in the villa for the duration of the IDC. Training is led by PADI Course Director Paolo Micarelli and supported by IDCSI Lapo Rizzo.
