Cano Divers operates out of Hotel Pirate Cove in Drake Bay on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. The team runs daily boat trips to Caño Island (Isla del Caño), a protected marine reserve about 15 kilometers offshore that is known for its pelagic and reef fish life. The standard scuba tour departs at 7:00 a.m., takes roughly 50 minutes each way, and includes two dives with all equipment, guide, transport, entrance fees, and lunch back at the hotel. The operator also runs snorkeling tours for non-divers and offers PADI certification courses including Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and specialty training.
