Buzos de Barú

Explore the 'Submarine Jungle' of Archipiélago de Barú with over 25 years of local expertise and daily departures from Cartagena.

Buzos de Barú operates from the Club Náutico de Cartagena in the Manga neighborhood, running day trips to the coral reefs of the Archipiélago de Barú and Islas del Rosario. The dive site is a 25-minute boat ride away, featuring visibility between 7m and 20m and water temperatures ranging from 28ºC to 30ºC year-round. The operator highlights its "Submarine Jungle" ecosystem, where divers encounter fish, crustaceans, and mollusks alongside various shipwrecks. The site includes intentional wrecks for diving as well as a warship, an old car, a boat turret, and scattered ancient cannons. With over 25 years of experience, the team uses new, disinfected equipment to maintain high safety standards. Trips typically depart at 7:00 am from the authorized marina and return by noon, offering certified divers double-dive experiences or night dives for a different perspective on the reef.
