Bottom Dwellers Scuba and Charter LLC is a family-owned business founded in 2023 by Heather and Jason Kogel, operating out of Hernando Beach Marina in Hernando County, Florida. Their trips run aboard a 28-foot Aquila Molokia Catamaran named Manō 'Ohana, with a maximum of 6 divers per trip. They offer one-tank day dives, two-tank charters, and guided night dives — with weights provided on board, tanks available for rent at $12 each, and Nitrox available at $15. Trips launch at 8:00am and return between 1pm and 2pm. Divers are expected to arrive at least 45 minutes early for loading. The boat is equipped with drinks and snacks, an ice chest, dry storage, fresh and saltwater wash down, a marine head, and a hand sink. Beyond boat diving, the team also guides dives at inland freshwater sites including Rainbow River, Blue Grotto, and Devil's Den. Heather Kogel is a NAUI-certified instructor teaching courses from Open Water through Divemaster, with Jason serving as Captain. The business is an official dealer of Huish Outdoors, offering gear from brands including Atomic, Bare, Stahlsac, and Zeagle, available for local pickup in Spring Hill, Florida or by shipping.
