Owner-operated sportfishing charter running daily departures from Porto Bodega Marina in Bodega Bay, California since 1984, aboard two large vessels.
Bodega Bay Sportfishing has been the longest-running sportfishing business in Bodega Bay since 1984, operating daily departures from Porto Bodega Marina. The fleet consists of two large vessels — the 65-foot New Sea Angler and the 58-foot Surf Scooter — described as the largest and most comfortable boats on the North Coast, crewed by USCG-certified and licensed crew with decades of experience. The operation offers both individual and private charter options with trips that vary by season. Fishing targets include salmon, rockcod, lingcod, halibut, albacore tuna, and Dungeness crab, available in various combo configurations. Beyond fishing, the operator also runs whale watching, bird watching, group sightseeing, marine mammal outings, and burial-at-sea services. Pricing and current seasonal availability are provided by phone. This is a sportfishing and nature-tour charter with no scuba diving, snorkeling, or dive training offerings.
