Located in Williston, Florida, Blue Grotto Dive Resort is a freshwater dive facility centered around an inline sinkhole with three distinct areas: a large open-water basin reaching 40 feet, an upper cavern to 50 feet featuring an air bell and artifacts, and a lower chamber for cave diving. The site is known for its resident turtle, Virgil, who approaches divers looking for handouts. The resort offers on-site lodging including cedar-lined cabins with double or bunk beds, detached cottages, tent camping areas, and RV sites with hookups. Facilities include a heated bathhouse with warm showers, nine covered pavilions for groups, a training pool to 12 feet deep, and a classroom available for instructor use. Guests can dive independently by paying admission or join guided dives led by the resort's divemasters and instructors. The guided program includes options to visit Devil's Den across the highway in addition to Blue Grotto.
