Dive with purpose in Bocas del Toro as you contribute to real-world coral reef conservation and marine science.
Located in Bocas del Toro, Panama, Ankay Conservation operates as a marine conservation center that integrates scuba diving with citizen science and ecological monitoring. The facility focuses on teaching the mechanics of the local ecosystem through hands-on reef surveys, coral nursery maintenance, and species identification training. The operator offers a range of programs from introductory Discover Scuba experiences to professional PADI Divemaster certifications combined with conservation pathways. Participants engage in daily diving activities that contribute to global databases such as Reef Check, allowing them to collect data on substrate health, fish communities, and invertebrate populations while improving their own dive skills.
