Anderson's Scuba Diving

From Pacifica's Oceana Blvd, Anderson's Scuba Diving has been outfitting Bay Area divers for over 50 years — and when the season calls for lobster hunting or free diving for yellowtail, they take you offshore on multi-day liveaboard runs to San Miguel, Santa Rosa, and Santa Cruz Islands.

Anderson's Scuba Diving has operated out of Pacifica, California since 1974, making it one of the longest-running dive stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. The 5,000 sq. ft. facility on Oceana Blvd houses a retail sales floor, indoor heated pool, changing rooms with showers, classroom, rental department, air fill station, and a full equipment service and parts department — everything a diver needs under one roof. The shop partners with SF Scuba Schools for PADI certification training, running beginner through advanced courses throughout the year, with classes held on Monday and Tuesday nights. Rental packages covering wetsuits, BCDs, regulators with computers, weights, and tanks are available for up to four days at a time, and the service department handles regulator overhauls, BCD repairs, and A.S.S.E.T.-certified cylinder inspections and hydrostatic tests. For divers ready to get offshore, Anderson's organizes multi-day liveaboard trips aboard the Peace Boat to the Channel Islands — San Miguel, Santa Rosa, and Santa Cruz — targeting lobster, white seabass, and yellowtail. These trips are tailored to intermediate and advanced divers comfortable with cold water, current, swell, and kelp, and all dives, air fills, and meals are included in the trip price.
