Adventure Sports Unlimited (ASU) is a Santa Cruz aquatics center at 303 Potrero Street, serving the local dive community for over 36 years. The shop offers PADI scuba training from entry-level through Divemaster, swim lessons for children, gear outfitting, and organized dive travel — making it a full-service hub for water-based recreation on California's Central Coast. ASU's flagship dive travel offering is their annual Southern Channel Islands liveaboard trip aboard the Vision, a spacious live-aboard dive boat departing from H&M Landing in San Diego. The 5-day trip visits Santa Barbara Island, Catalina Island, San Clemente Island, Cortes Banks, and San Nicolas, exploring the vast underwater park of the Channel Islands — known for sweeping canyons, swim-throughs, and towering kelp forests. The October trip adds lobster hunting to the diving, making it a particularly popular seasonal excursion. In addition to travel and training, the shop runs a retail operation with extended swim school hours (Monday–Sunday, 9am–7pm) and shop hours Monday–Friday, 12pm–5pm.
