Experience the thrill of the Pacific Ocean with small-group charters for halibut, tuna, and rockfish out of Charleston, Oregon.
Adventure Charter Fishing operates out of Coos Bay and Charleston, Oregon, offering private charter trips for salmon, halibut, lingcod, rockfish, albacore tuna, and Dungeness crab. The business runs a brand new 28-foot Kingfisher/Costal Express boat with an open deck space behind the cabin, limiting groups to six guests plus one crew member to ensure personalized attention. Trips range from four-hour offshore rockfish excursions beyond the 40-fathom line to full-day halibut and albacore tuna charters that travel up to 75 miles into the Pacific Ocean. The operator provides all necessary gear, including electric reels, rods, tackle, bait, and bottled water, while guests are responsible for purchasing their own Oregon fishing licenses or shellfish permits. Led by Captain Mike Hill, who uses custom-handmade jigs from a local company to target specific fishery spots, the charter emphasizes safety and productivity. The boat features a head and comfortable cabin area but no galley, so anglers are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages in small ice chests.
