Five Star Charters is a family-owned fishing charter service operating out of the Port of Gold Beach on Oregon's Southern Coast. The business offers ocean charter boat trips targeting bottom fish (ling cod, rock fish) and salmon, as well as guided river fishing for winter steelhead and salmon on the nearby rivers. Trips run seasonally from January through October depending on target species. The operator runs two custom-built ocean boats and four river boats (two drift boats and two power boats). The ocean vessels are Pilot House 360-degree walk-around designs, 33–35 feet in length, powered by twin four-stroke outboard engines and equipped with commercial-grade Furuno electronics. River boats accommodate 2–4 anglers while ocean boats hold up to 6. All fishing gear and tackle are provided, and fish cleaning is included in the trip price. This is a fishing charter operation only — no scuba diving or snorkeling services are offered.
