Situated in Granite Quarry, North Carolina, 3D Scuba serves the greater Charlotte area as a full-service dive training center and gear shop. The facility runs a sweeping curriculum that takes students from their very first pool session through professional-level Divemaster and Instructor certifications, with dozens of specialty programs in between — including Nitrox, Wreck, Drift, Dry Suit, Underwater Photography, and Technical diving introductions. Open-water training takes place at a local quarry managed by the NC PDRA, where a $30 quarry fee grants access and can be applied toward an annual membership giving unlimited post-certification dive access. The 2026 Open Water package bundles eLearning, confined-water pool sessions, open-water training dives, and over $400 in gear for $899. Beyond local certification training, 3D Scuba organizes dive travel to international destinations, including trips to Turquoise Bay in Roatan, Honduras. The shop carries and sells dive equipment from reputable brands — students can purchase necessary personal gear items (mask, fins, snorkel, boots, logbook) at a discounted price — and gift certificates are available for purchase. Store hours run Wednesday through Saturday, with Sunday visits by appointment.
